This downtown engagement session was as dreamy as it looks! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we were lucky enough to find several spots where the sun was shining through just right. Katie and Cole initially reached out to us just a few short days before their engagement session. They were eager to get on our books before Cole left for training. It worked out perfectly that we all had an opening the Friday before he left and we are so glad it did!

Katie and Cole chose downtown not just because it’s gorgeous, but also because it is where they had their very first date. They were able to walk the streets of downtown, in what Cole describes as 20 degree weather haha, and eat the most delicious Benny’s pizza. Their love story continued to grow as they spent the next four years together at VMI, and then got engaged shortly after their graduation!

We love Katie and Cole! We love how sweet their love story is, and how unique it is that they both serve in different branches but have been able to make their relationship last regardless. We cannot wait to capture their upcoming wedding. Until then, enjoy some of our favorites from their engagement session!
